The Program

Yoga for Men is a gender specific yoga program for men that challenges current toxic views of what it means to be a man in today’s society. At Nadi Om Wellness, community is fundamental in establishing healthy habits for individuals who seek to improve their overall wellbeing and general health. The gender specific yoga program for Men will honor the inherent traits of each student while cultivating clearer expressions of healthy masculine ideals such as empathy, compassion, and fluidity of healthy emotional expression and fluctuating social identity. A place for building a sense of interpersonal connections and community while fostering a healthy sense of intrapersonal skills.

Why yoga for men?

  • Men’s bodies are different than women’s. The intention of this program is to honor such differences from a physical, mental, and emotional aspects of every man while addressing perceived self-limiting beliefs about yoga.
  • Confront unhealthy masculinity norms that confine today’s man into a harmful and archaic way of relating to others, self and the community.
  • A four week, 8 class gender-specific yoga program at Nadi Om Wellness. Each class will have a specific theory and application emphasis for each participant to focus on in each class. Discussion of key topics and terms, foundational postures, breathing exercises and mindful meditation techniques. Investment in self: $108

  • College Student completing Bachelor of Arts Psychology with Contemplative Studies
